Hat
The hat is knit in open rsr and wsr. Cast on 40 st and 2 est, begin with a wsr and knit approx. 20 cm (= 25 r). After that begin with the decreases:
26th r: est, * 2 ST ri, 2 st ri k tog., from * rep. another 9 x, est (= 32 st)
28th r: est, * 1 ST ri, 2 st ri k tog., ab * rep. another 9 x, est (= 22 st)
30th r: est, always k tog. 2 st ri, est (= 12 st)
31st r: est, always k tog. 2 et le, est (= 7 st)
Cut the working yarn and pull through the remaining 7 st. Close the hat with a seam as flat as possible.
Large loop:
The loop is knit in open rsr and wsr. Cast on 28 st and 2 est and knit approx. 160 cm stockinette. After that, c off all stitches. Sew the end and cast off edge as flat as possible.
Small loop:
Also knit the small loop in rsr and wsr. 54 st and 2 est and knit approx. 28 cm stockinette stitch. Afterwards c off all stitches and sew the side edges together flat.
