Row 1 (WS row): sl 2 p-wise wyif, * k1, sl1 p-wise with yo tog, rep from * to end then k1, sl 2 p-wise wyif.
Row 2 (RS row): k2, * sl 1 p-wise with yo tog, k1 with yo tog, rep from * to end then sl 1 p-wise with yo tog, k2.
Row 3: (WS row): sl 2 p-wise wyif, * k1 with yo tog, sl 1 p-wise with yo tog, rep from * to end then k1 with yo tog, sl 2 p-wise wyif.
Rows 2 and 3 establish the pattern. Rep these 2 rows cont. throughout.
Tension: (adjust needle size to achieve given tension)
10 sts and 20 rows to 10 cm meas. over fisherman’s rib stitch using size 7 mm needles.
Instructions:
Cast on 31 sts (including 4 selvedge sts) and work in Fisherman’s Rib pattern beginning 1st row as a WS row. Cont until work meas. 200 cm ending with a WS row.
Next row: cast off alls sts knit wise knitting the sts with the yo’s and purl the other sts between.
Weave in all ends.
