(stocking stitch, unfelted):
11 stitches x 16 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm
(stocking stitch, felted):
15 stitches x 27 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm
Knitting pattern:
Cast on 110 st using a circular knitting needle, close round. Purl 2 rd. Continue in basic pattern. In the 10th rd, knit together every 9th and 10th stitch (= 99 stitches). In the 13th rd, knit together every 8th and 9th stitch (11 times) (= 88 stitches). In the 16th rd, knit together every 7th and 8th stitch (= 77 stitches). Continue without decreasing any further. In the 47th rd, mark every 11th st, and then over this st slip one, k 2, pass slip st over, )after 2 rd of decreasing, distribute the stitches onto the doublepointed needles); repeat until only 7 st are left. Pull together the last 7 stitches with the working yarn.
Felting:
Put the hat into the washing machine (on its own) with 3 tennis balls and felt it at 40°C, coloured washing. Please do not use fabric softener. After the washing: pull the hat into shape and let it dry.
