Knitting pattern
Hat:
The hat is knitted straight, in right- and wrong-side rows.
Cast on 42 st plus 2 est. Start with one wrong-side row, and knit approx. 7 com (= 9 r) of pattern 1, then 12 cm (= 18 r) of pattern 2. Finish the hat with pattern 1. Knit 2 more rows, then decrease as follows: Mark the 4th, 12th, 28th, and 36th st, and then slip the marked stitch knitwise, k 2 tog, then pass the slipped stitch over = 34 st.
Repeat these decreases twice in every second row, exactly above the marked stitches. Cut off the working yarn and pull it through the stitches. Close the back seam as flat as possible. Attach the fur pompon to the hat.
Arm warmers:
Cast on 18 st plus 2 est, and knit approx. 4 cm (= 5 r) of pattern 1, then 17 cm (= 26 r) of pattern 2, and the another r of pattern 1. Bind off all stitches straight, knitting the stitches as they appear. Close the side seam as flat as possible, then leave approx. 3 cm open for the thumb hole at a height of approx. 16 cm from the lower edge. Knit the second arm warmer accordingly.
