(refer to chart, amount of stitches multiple of 8 plus 1)
Row 1 (RS): 3 ch, 1 tr in the 4th st from the needle, * sk 3 ch, 4 tr, 1ch, and 1 tr in the next ch, 3 sk, 2 tr into the next ch, rep from * end row by working the last 2 tr in the last ch of prev row.
Row 2 (WS): 3 ch, 1 tr between the last 2 tr of the prev row, * 4 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr into the ch-sp of prev row. Rep from * and end row with 4 tr, 1ch, and 1 tr in the last cluster and 1 tr between the last tr and the 3 turn ch of prev. row then 1 tr in the turn ch.
Row 3 (RS): 3 ch, 1 tr between the last 2 tr of the prev row, * 4 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr into the ch-sp of prev row. Rep from * and end row with 4 tr, 1ch, and 1 tr in the last cluster and 1 tr between the last tr and the 3 turn ch of prev. row then 1 tr in the turn ch.
These last two rows set the pattern. Rep rows 2-3 cont.
Tension:
8 sts and 3 rows to 10 cm meas. over stitch patt. using size 10mm needles or size needed to achieve given tension.
Instructions:
Using a 10-12 mm crochet hook 25 ch (foundation row). Work in patt (also using chart) until piece meas 230 cm. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Pin out Scarf to measurements given, cover with a clean, damp cloth and leave to dry naturally out of sunlight. Do not steam press.
